And so it Begins
Birmingham Born and Bred
The CORZ Cradle was born in a home office in Birmingham, UK, after its inventor was forced to use a gym ball as a seat when their chair broke. What could have ended as a simple workaround turned into something much bigger—thanks to video gaming.
After a long day of work, the office transformed into a gaming space. Sitting on the gym ball while playing felt different—more engaging, more immersive, and surprisingly more active. Instead of just moving thumbs and fingers, the entire body was involved, all because of the bouncy gym ball. This sparked a thought: what if the motion and movement from the game could be transferred to the ball? The result? The world’s first gym ball joystick and video-linked fitness device. And that was just the beginning..
